Here's some photos of the yarn that I've managed to spin since I got my spindle at Christmas. I'm not going to post all the photos as they're on my Flickr a/c and some will be going on my blog shortly. But here's one of each just to show what's been going on...

This is the first lot of spinning from front to back - the red one was my very first on Christmas night after a few glasses of wine!

Check out my progress in the piccie below - the yarn on the left is the first attempt and the one on the right (on the knitting needle) is the 2nd attempt a few days later. I think I'm getting more control as far as drafting the wool

And just one more piccie for luck. The blue and red yarn is the first yarn I plied and wound into a center pull ball. I really like the colours together !

I'm off to the land of nod now... will try to update with more tomorrow.

Wow!! They are all stunning Bernie. I have only spun a bit on a wheel and mine comes out fine - they are lovely and chunky.
