Possible Pressies for CrimboI went to Asda to do the food shopping this morning and the toiletries section has been reorganised, which annoyed me a bit as I couldn't find what I was looking for and I was in a hurry as usual - but anyway, I found a range of lovely organic toiletry products, and bought a bar of organic lavender soap.
It smells divine. I'm thinking of making washcloths for the boys' teachers and buying blocks of organic soap to go with them - I have the cotton already as I bought a few balls of cotton in Wales on holiday, but do you think this would be acceptable as a teacher gift? I need to get crackin with the washcloths if I do this!!

Fi!! You've just done me such a favour!!!!!! With the letters 'TES' I've just found a teachers' forum that I think I'll be lurking about on a great deal... you are a STAR!!!!!
And yes, an advert is a fabu idea.... think grubby teachers, pictures of lavender, a ball of soft cotton and a pair of needles... could work?? Or maybe introduce a knitting club and knit a washcloth as a first project??
Off to browse said forum for a bit to get some ideas for primary next week..... see youz later

Thank you for sharing this with us, I have 'collected' some lovely handmade soap over the years and could do this for some Christmas presents too, DS1 teacher is Male so might do something a little different though  DS2 playgroup leader would probably love it though.

I thought about this last year, and even bokmarked a few handmade soap websites - but then dint have enough time to knit the washcloths before Christmas
