Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End

I've edited my original rant of a post so as to be more succinct and to the point. I loved the film, maybe a tad too long, but it was fab. Great to have Captain Barbosa back too. Very Happy

The film was a tad spoiled by the cinema's decision to have an interval, so I'd check yourself if I were you. Not all cinemas are doing this.

I went to see it yesterday morning as well Joy and have to agree, its a great film (although the same as you, possibly a tad too long). Captain Barbosa was wonderful! Thoroughly enjoyed it (especially after walking out of Spiderman 3 the previous night as it was sooooo bad) Smile

PS: Thankfully, there were no intervals for me Smile

I can't bring myself to go to see Spiderman 3 there was too much angst for me in Spiderman 2.

edited having re-read PL's post properly Embarassed

To be honest Joy, I don't know why we went to see Spiderman 3 (apart from the fact that we have a cinema pass which we pay £10 per month for and go and see everything Smile ). I love comics (more of a Batman Dark Knight fan though) and often enjoy this sort of film (X-Men are wonderful) but the Spiderman franchise has been dreadful and this last one really was dreadful. I asked MrP what time it was, and only 40 mins had passed and I was thoroughly bored. Luckily, so was MrP and hence a speedy exit Smile

I so agree about X-Men but then I love Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan and Lurve Hugh Jackman as Wolverine!!!

I too wasn't impressed about the Spidermen movies at all and am not wanting/waiting to see no 3. I am however anticipating the 5th HP movie Order of the Phoenix, especially after the trailers Smile

I'm not a Pirates fan at all as I would rather have an 'eclair' than Johnny Depp Wink Smile

Thanks for the review though Joy, the oldest son is wanting to see this Smile
