pattern for socks on 2 needles?

My lovely aunty (who must be getting on for 90) wants a pattern for socks knitted on 2 needles. I've found a Wendy leaflet but it's more complicated than knitting socks in the round. Has anyone seen a sock pattern knitted flat with a seam up the middle that I can print off and send her??

I've got a feeling that one of the patterns for socks knitted in Sirdar Town & Country was for socks on two needles and I'm pretty sure that there's an Elle one too (as I got one of these pattersn when I first started knitting socks and was confused!!).... try Diannes as they sell both Sirdar and Elle patterns there Wink

Thanks, I really like the Knitty pattern but I think it's quite complicated. I'll send her the one I've got and see what she can make of it.
