I've knitted a few projects from 'Lavish Lace' in assorted sock yarn. The patterns all use Cherry Tree Hill yarns but I've used Lornas Laces sock yarn and other sock yarn. It's quite a while ago though so don't think I can dig out any photos.
Gloves are an obvious thing for sock yarn or fingerless gloves/mitts. Scarves and hats are ideal for sock yarn.
And don't forget my two shawl patterns, Ocean Waves and Carmen. Both are using sock yarn, although you need more than one skein. Check out my Etsy shop for more details and pic (www.yarnaddictanni.etsy.com). I'm working on some more shawls using sock yarn, one is using some of n's Merino Tencel.

I know n - it's just they make my wrists ache so - my technique at fault entirely - but as I'm a sucker for colour and sock yarn has colour, I'm doomed as Fraser would say. So I need alternatives!

You dirty rotten word knicker n.........
Glubs: gloves for the verbally challenged. The word used by those of us young enough to remember nursery school in the days when winters were cold and family cars non-existence.

I finished this recently for my sister. It is Haven from Heartfelt by Kim Hargreaves and is knit in Eva 4 ply. It took one skein with 1 metre approx left over. It was a replacement pattern for Knitspot's That Little Scarf as my lace skills were not up to that one in such a short space of time. This pattern I will definitely knit again My Aunt wants one too now
There are more pics on my blog
