You don't need to sign up or do anything official to join - just post pictures of your socks each month as you work on and finish them, and you will automatically be in the draws for the prizes.
You can display the sock-a-month button in your sig and/or on your blog, if you have one, if you like.

You're not nutty at all! Yep, Sheba was the name of my German Shepherd. She's no longer with us, but she'll always live on in our hearts.
