newbie from CheshireHi everyoneMy name is Donna and I am from Cheshire. I found this site through various knitting blogs I read regularly. I also have my own blog www.from-little-acorns.blogspot.com Please feel free to have a look. I love knitting, which I rediscovered last summer and started knitting socks in the garden in the soaring heat!! I hadn't knitted for about 12 years before that. The new yarns and techniques I have discovered since last year because of the internet are amazing. This month I was lucky enough to have my "knit,purl" stitch markers featured in Simply Knitting magazine, and next month my sheep ones are featured in the shop of the month section for Stash Fine Yarns in Chester. I look forward to getting to know you all, some of you I will probably recognise already!! Best wishes Donna |

Donna makes lovely cards too everybody and when I first got poorly she sent me a smashing one so she was the first to get one of Piglottie's because she has a bad thumb which is hindering the knitting. |

Cazzie - I think we have met recently on the SKD forum. Not sure if I'll manage the knitalong after all, still suffering with the thumb!! But I'll see. Jackie - I'm in Chester, how about you? If you google Burton Manor you'll get their site with the list of courses. I got a brochure because my husband had previously been on a course. I threw it away after the one I went on but now I wish i'd kept it!! Donna |
