New WW knitting & crochet special

Got this in Tesco's today. It's got lots of lovely patterns, quite a few are 4 ply though. I think Rowan must be sponsoring this issue as most of the designs use their yarns. It's also got Rupert Bear & postman Pat toys by Alan Dart, cushions in sorbet & reef (dirt cheap at Kemps  Wink ). Good value at £3.50  Very Happy

Ali, I don't know if they're published in the new books, but here goes:

Pretty Special - mother & daughter cardis with fairisle trim in RYC Siena
causual tunic & loose fitting jacket in ASC
2 lacy cardis in RYC Siena (really lovely these 2 are)
Daisy Daisy - stripy swaeter Rowan milk cotton
Lilac & lace -collared sleeveless sweater in RYC siena
Blue beaded & lace jacket in milk cotton
2 mens sweaters in RYC coton jeans

Lesley Stanfield, Martin Storey, Shirley Bradford, Fiona McTague, Julie Dumbrell are the designers if that's any help.

I looked at this yesterday and really liked the Siena cardigans. Is Siena a 4ply yarn - I was thinking about subbing Patons 4 ply cotton for this. I can't decide whether to knit one of these cardigans or Iris from Rowan 45.

Yes it is Anne and I reckon the Patons should be fine as a sub!!

I saw a copy of this at the weekend and the patterns looked really really good! A bargain to! Smile
