My Freya socks on Ravelry!!I'm jumping up and down with excitement here cos Ravelry have asked to use MY photo of MY socks for the Freya pattern
I know plenty of people here have been asked for permission to use their photos, it's nothing new, but it's new for me and I am over the moon Apologies for overexcitement, but this has completely made my day and I just had to share

Thanks everyone! aha, loobyj, I think I've found you now
But, I've found out today that the lady who designed Freya, and Bellatrix and a load of other socks, the lady behind Socktopia, has died. Here. That's so sad

That is really sad ...........
Does it sort takes the wind out of your sails a bit - it would mine.
However you should still be really pleased with yourself, always said you were a star and a very kneat knitter
and you know what everybody that star, grafted one of my socks the last time I saw her - bit like having a stars autograph

Gosh I did, didn't I! I'd completely forgotten But I just couldn't bear to see that lovely sock, so nearly finished, it was distressing me! That grafting just had to be done. I like grafting. (Please note, this is not a request to send me any ungrafted socks ) Stars autograph, that has made me laugh, thanks!
