My Birthday Pressie
DH made this from a small piece of English Walnut he found. We usually use American Walnut for our spindles, so this is extra special for me It is a bottom whorl one weighing 2oz.
Isnt he a treasure!!

PS n is dyeing me some merino/silk roving so I'm saving the spindle to use when it comes.

That's a real work of art - I love things that are beautiful and useful too. I'm spinning some of n's merino silk at the moment - it has to be one of the best fibres that I have spun - I'm sure you will enjoy it!
