More lovely free patterns from Prima

They are here .

Some Sublime ones from the Woolly Merino book and lots of ideas for Christmas knits - there are some lovely tea cosies and teddy bears, cushions as well as kids' things too. Sewing projects in another section.

It's a great site!! Best to copy them straightaway as they do take the older ones down eventually.

The chocolate swiss roll slice looks good enough to eat Very Happy

I'm thinking of making it in the Elann Quechua actually! I was going to make Riding to Avalon with that but I fancy this one more and can probably knit it faster as it's knit flat.

What is the Quechua like DC??? I have often wondered about getting some for Ivy.

There are some lovely bags on there Liz - I liked the knitting bag.

I haven't knitted with it yet but it does feel lovely and squishy  Very Happy Very good value I think, currently works out at around 1.80 a ball, although they only have 8 colours in stock at the moment. If you're ordering from elann the cheapest shipping option is surface/no insurance which is around 10 pounds-something. It generally takes about 6 weeks to arrive. I do think it's the sort of place it's worth ordering at least a copule of sweaters'-worth from to get the best value  Very Happy Their own "mill" lines like the Quechua are fantastic value but they also do have great deals on other branded yarns.

Well, there's the Rowan cabled shrug (Nov), the short sleeved top (Oct), the hooded tunic (Apr), the lacy crropped cardi (Oct) and the plus size waistcoat Very Happy

I get the magazine and although you can order the patterns there is normally a time lag before they are on the site. Must go and have a look
