Mirasol at John Lewis

I was in John Lewis at Bluewater today, just nosing around the yarn section, as you do, when I spotted their range of Mirasol yarns.
The baby llama yarn is out of this world!! Expensive, but truly wonderful!
The rest of the range is yummy too Smile

Pity theres no John Lewis near here.

Apart from Peter Jones (London? ) I don't know who else stocks this yarn.

I've seen it at Robert Sayle (John Lewis in Cambridge), as well in Peter Jones. If i didn't have to buy over £100 of uni books i'd definitely buy some to make a nice warm cozy hat to keep me snug when standing at the bus stop this winter.

What are you studying Bagpuss?

OK just caught up on the answer to that on your blog.
I'm impressed! Smile

Edited to add - we have even more in common - my first degree was Sp Hons Genetics and Microbiology and I see from your blog that you've chosen a Micro specialism.

Sheepish in York has just got two of the Mirasol yarns in - the variegated dk one, and Miski, the baby llama one. I instantly fell in love with the Miski, it is possibly the softest yarn I've ever felt, and bought four balls, two in a purply shade, and two in a pale lilac, to make a scarf. It's lovely to knit with, although I do have to keep stopping to stroke it  Laughing

Photos and more info here.
