MidsummerI cast on for this last night, it's Midsummer by the Goddess Knits.This was the first Mystery shawl I came across back in May which had already started but by the time I got my yarn clue 4 was posted. I am using it as my intrim knit between Weekend knitting on VLT and waiting for the next clue on the Mystery stole..... I am 2/3 of the way through Clue 1 as it was. 
She is starting a new mysery shawl on the 28th of this month, it's going to be a circular shawl with rays from her description. |

That looks gorgoeus. Maybe I'll have to join her next mystery knits. I fancy hosting a mystery knit in the future but was worried about being accused of copying Pink Lemon Twist's idea but if there are more mystery knits running then I may be okayh. I was thinking of one in the autumn, a special shawl that would be suitable for Christmas parties. |

This is the end of clue 2 as was.....
quite enjoying it now but the yarn does seem thick after my other laceweight projects at the moment..... |

sorry Claire... it's 4.5mm KP Options (pattern says 5mm but I didn't like the effect) and the yarn is from Yarn Treehouse It is 100% wool and is very springy. Now I've got used to using it I quite like it, just after all the fine lace yarn which doesn't have 'bounce' it feels strange in a nice sort of way.... |
