Merino, tencell useable!

I have spun this, it was from Fyberspates which came as a lovely plait! I was aiming for thinner stuff and so it is a bit better and is between a 4 ply and aran!!!!

I can't get photobucket to resize the piccies, it keeps crashing the computer so here is a link to my spun yarn.

and here is the knitted stuff.

a neckwarmer hopefully from this pattren http://bellaknitting.typepad.com/...ting/2007/12/recipe-for-a-sc.html! I got about 112 metres 2 ply so that should be OK.

That handspun looks gorgeous!  I love the colours.  I've got a plait that I was sent from the US (can't remember the company) but I'm afraid to use it just yet.  Your yarn is beautiful! Great job. x

I was thinking like that, afriad to use it , was going to save it for best. But then I thought that I always do that with stuff so my spinning is going to be spinning what I love! I think thats why it came out well because I really enjoyed using it.

You did a brilliant job there and it truly deserves to be on show. A neckwarmer is ideal.

Thank you.  Very Happy

I spun some really rubbish yarn earlier this week though. I seem to overtwist alot so really need to practice the twst until it is right. I am a bit impatient with it too so really need to slow down with the spinning.
