I think this and her Summer Classics are two of her best for a while

I do like some of the designs - Sabine is probably my favourite. But I have noticed that ith Louisa Harding designs (and many other designers) the designs are virtually the same year after year I looked at this book when I was in Cucmberpatch a few weeks ago but didn't buy it. Or the other LH one

Same here I love her designs but find the books a bit samey - ditto DB these days. I haven't been tempted by a single British pattern book this season except Rowan 45 and Studio 14
I am maybe suffering from pattern overload tho

I thought the Noveau ones were different?

Me too - but then I havent brought any LH ones recently. I love the styling of these - think I have said this in another thread but these remind me of one of my old favourite TV progs - House of Ellott.
I do love her patterns

The yarns used in the book are quite pricey given the poor yardage, aren't they?

I usually sub the yarns - dont like buying any of the 'Designer' yarns at full price

Or me!
The designs in these books reminded me of the designs in the Italian ones from earlier in the season, or last season. There are some nice ones, but I preferred to buy the DB ones at Cucumberpatch as I liked more designs in them.
I feel sometimes that the designers are compelled to bring out two or three books per season to keep up with their counterparts and just rehash older designs in new yarns.

I musy admit I didnt buy the Italian ones because the designs didnt grab me. Alot of designers do have a definite style and if you compare patterns the same basic design is there - in terms of number of stitches and the basic shaping.

Not seen the Italian ones. I like these as they remind me of the Charston flapper girls
