has anyone else got the new issue? mine's got two of the same pattern printed - a fluffy bolero ( confused2 ) instead of the cardi on the cover  Crying or Very sad

Havent studied closely but mine looks Ok - in mine the one button wonder pattern is on page 26

ETA - doh looking a wrong pattern - yep - the casual cardi pattern is missing.

This should be my last copy of this mag - not going to miss it

I got in touch with them today and mentioned that the same pattern had been included twice. Apparently the first print run that gets sent out to people who advertise and subscribers had this error. I asked them if they could put the missing pattern on their web site, which they said they would do. Look out over the next couple of days - it should appear in pdf format for you to download.

well at least that is a result, i quite like that cardi too.
i really love lady irmelin on page 60 too, also the bags are pretty nice, and i am quite liking the cool cape too, i think it would make a great pressie for a friend of mine for xmas

I have some of the Manos Silk Blend yarn but for Hawaii - only takes 2 hanks!! It is really really gorgeous yarn heart

Ali, I cast on for Hawaii last night and it's knitting up quite quickly.  (I've got the exact same blouse that the model is wearing and it creases really badly so I thought the waistcoat would hide the wrinkles.  Wink )  I'm using Mirasol Hacho for Hawaii but I've got some Manos silk blend to make Hibiscus
It's next on my to-do list.  Thought it would do for work.

They are both lovely patterns - there are some lovely colours in the Silk Blend (not that I have been looking  Wink )

That's another lovely one Linda!! In fact I like a lot of the new patterns for the Silk Blend, the Wool Classica and the Artesano Aran Wink Twistfibre have both of the Manos wools tho only in a few colours and they are all gorgeous!!!

I got this hat pattern as well and it takes 1 skein of the Silk Blend Cazzie Wink .

I like the pattern too, but I can't help thinking it's very similar to one of the Colinette ones ( in the Banyan booklet )

Aknita,  the pattern says Colinette to me too - and my first thought was to sub with some Banyan I've got that I was going to knit Ariadne with - but the guage was wrong.  Going to dig my Banyan book out later.    (got to take DD to Girls brigade first)

Still resisting buying any Manos - really trying to stick to knitting from stash - despite temptations  angel1
