Lengthening garmentI have measured my 5 year old dd around the chest (nearly 22") and have found that she is the same as last year, but she has grown taller and has longer arms. So i have realised i need to make the same size as last year for the width, but need to make the arms and back longer. When doing the sleeves, where do i increase the length and will it work out okay?

one trick my mum used to do was knit a really long bit if ribbing at the wrist....that way it could be folded double and the when our arms grew we could unfold it

I think if her arms aren't any wider, and the current sleeves fit other than being too short, I would just lengthen before the armhole, and spread the increases along the length, so spread the increases out a little more
