Labyrinth - Kate Mosse

I'm just listening to this now on my ipod and it's really good. It's about a lady in 2005 and one in c. 1209. Kind of an archealogical mystery. The audiobook I got from audible is very good and worth getting. Quite scary in places if you listen to it at night in bed when your DH is on nights. Shocked Or maybe it's just me. Laughing Rolling Eyes

I fancied that but was thinking it might be too scary for me - I'm a bit of a wimp Laughing Laughing

Laughing Laughing Actually, it's only in certain sections, not all the way through, I think you'll be ok, just don't listen/read in the dark!! Not that you can read in the dark IYSWIM. Laughing

Well I might try it then - think I'll read rather than listen - it seems more 'real' somehow when you listen to them Rolling Eyes Laughing

I was only looking at this in Smiths today - is it anything like the Da Vinci Code? Only if it is I won't bother Rolling Eyes
Anna

I read this when it first came out ages ago and I liked it. It's not at all like The Da Vinci Code, apart from some vague similarity of some themes. I think it's better written and better plotted. Sadly I lent my copy to somebody at least a year ago and I can't remember who Sad I shall have to look for a cheap copy in a bargain bookstore because I'd quite like to read it again sometime.
CJ

no, nothing like da vinci code really, apart from the grail link. Very Happy As Anna said, it's much better written, although I did quite enjoy DVC. Laughing
Rosie

Im currently trying to read this one but cant get on with it at all - it seems very confused & not well written IMO so i keep putting it down & picking it up again but i will finish it sometime Smile

WOW Exclamation
Farmgirl

I read this book last year after it had won a book prize.

But this book is more or less the same as the books that Barbara Erskine writes - I just couldn't believe that Kate Mosse won a prize for it Shocked
