Knit the classics blogI just wanted to highlight this blog to anyone who likes to read-along.
I joined last month (although I've just introduced myslef) and its really good! You read the recommended book for the month, there is a forum where you can discuss the story, characters etc, and then you can enter a knitting/crochet/fyber project that you were inspired to make by reading the book!!!!
The book for May is Dantes " the inferno", which I have read before, but found really difficult to understand, so looking forward to seeing how everyone else gets along with it!!!!

I thought you meant knit a V necked 'classic' jumper, or a 'classic' round necked cardi.... now I know there's 'proper' reading involved I might pass on that!
I'm trying to read a book at the moment, but I keep skim reading it - I'm reading it very quickly indeed, but not enjoying it because I'm whizzing through it so fast

I think its a great blog Terri - although I joined up over 6 months ago and have yet to knit anything or read any of the books LOL!!! Its fun just to look at the things people make inspired by the novels.

So what would reading Dante's Inferno inspire you to knit, Terri?
All those layers of hell - how about a hair shirt?
teehee.
I belong to a bookclub IRL - I've been taking my knitting along. I've inspired a few of the members to join in - but i don't think any of the books have inspired me to knit anything. Yet.
