Just joined!Bit late, I know, but I've just decided to join in the Sock a month challenge. I've just cast on my socks (well sock, really - only do one at a time  ) and have no idea if I'll finish the pair for January, but will see how I get on.

sandrab you sound like me . . . . Ive been humming and ahhing (Sp) about joining this for a while and Ive finally given in!!
Im sure you will manage your pair - its amazing what a deadline can do.

good luck, I am running behind aswell, I am almost on the toe of my first sock so still behind, lol. I am sure we will be there by the deadline time.

Just a plain old pair of socks, with a sort of ribbed cuff (2 x 2 rib with a twist every fourth row to give it a sort of cabled effect). Colour, well grey/white/black - its a ball of Opal that I've had in my stash for months and which I've just decided to knit.
Will have to buy something more interesting for my February socks, if I manage to finish the January ones
