Jaggerspun Zephyr Wool Silk Lace Yarn...

...has anyone knitted with it?! I have wanted to try this for ages and was wondering if anyone has knitted anything lacy in it? Is it as soft as it sounds??! Smile

Sarah - it's gorgeous  lovehearts

I used it to make Muir - details are on Rav.  I have a bit left, and will make a wee scarf, plus there's another ball in Dewberry (dusky pink)

It's lovely to handle, not too slippy, but really smooth.  A really luxurious texture too.  It also stood up to quite a hard blocking.

If I was buying, I'd certainly get a whole load more of this yarn.

Do you have any idea what you're going to make?

I've used it too, for the red lace stole I made during tour de france last year.
It's gorgeous to knit with! Very soft, whilst knitting, and gorgeously light and lovely when blocked!!!! Highly recommended by me too Laughing

Thanks guys! Smile I don't need much convincing!! Laughing  I'm going to make the http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/triinu-scarf]Triinu scarf from Nancy Bush's book 'Knitted Lace of Estonia'.  It'll be my first lace project.  I did start one in some Posh lace a few years ago but the yarn wasn't fixed properly and it would stain my hands for days after knitting with it so I gave up! I want to get it in the Plum colourway, though I'm going to resist starting it til I've finished Max's jacket!! Smile

Does anyone know where else sells it in the UK apart from Gill at WW? She's out of stock of the Plum and that's the one I wanted...boo hoo! Sad

It is lovely and soft, I have some here in ruby and ebony colourways I brought from the bride of draculas shawl which I messed up and havn't looked at since  Embarassed   It was nice to work with and I was very pleased with the results I had before I had to frog it.
