Jaeger Matchmaker DK

I have a bit of this in my stash and I want to make some simple everyday jumpers - now I have strangely never made anything in this wool and I just wondered how it wears. And is it really ok to put in the machine like it says??
paula

Did you use the Jaegar in the end Pictish  Question   I've got a whole load of the matchmaker DK in various colours  and enough pink to make something worthwhile but I have heard reports that it goes bobbly quite quickly   Confused

I haven't as yet Confused I hope that's not true about the bobbling Shocked as I have loads of it Rolling Eyes I'm a bit surprised tbh since it was such a classic and was around for so long you would expect it to be ok.

Sirdar Country Style goes really bobbly with my garments though  Shocked I'm sure how and where I wear them is a factor!

Oooh! that's interesting to know Deb, I did wonder what the country was like once knitted up.

Pictish  I'll knit a swatch over christmas of the JM and chuck it in the machine, see what happens and report back  Very Happy

I think I'm just really heavy on sweaters ansd cardies as shop bought ones bobble too. So I tend to keep old ones for kicking about the house in and better ones for work  Very Happy
