Iris KAL

This is my next project - Iris from Rowan 45.

I'm using Rowan Cotton Glace in shade 817 - Maritime blue.

Anyone fancy joining in?

Oooo I really like this pattern - temptation is to forget the Fabel Cardi for now and do this instead in Garnstudio Safran  Wink

I want to do this but have to wait until next month before I get the yarn.

Can anyone with Rowan 45 tell me what the finished size is for the 36-38 and 40-42 sizes please Very Happy

Am just about to cast on, using Rowan Glace in Candy Floss  Very Happy

Thank you Smile

I'm in - just need to get the pattern.  I have 10 balls of Garnstudio Safran I brought last year which should be enough (shade 39 - off white/light pink mix)  Very Happy

Well IMO this Rowan Cotton Glace is lovely to knit with  Very Happy   I am also pleased with how it is looking so far. I have done the first 24 rows and am just about to start the decreases  Very Happy

Ooo looking really pretty - I'm waiting for my book to arrive (which gives me a chance to finish another Cardi) and then I will be in - albeit slowly as I need to cast on a knit for my Mum for a Mother Day pressie Very Happy

That looks nice Janice.  I like the colour and how it's progressing.  Haven't used the Rowan Glace but could well add it to my list.

Janice, I love that colour.   Very Happy   How're you getting on?

I finished the back today.  I'm really pleased with how this is turning out.  The pattern is quite easily memorised and I'm surprised how quickly it's knitting up on 3.25 mm needles.

The colour is more accurate in the first photo.

I like the Cotton Glace but find it's drying out my already-dry hands no end.  I'm using heaps more hand cream than usual but my hands still feel really dry.

Looking really good Very Happy
