Very Happy Look what you lot have done to me!!

I've only got 3 days to finish my January pair - not sure I'm going to make it (as I'm about an inch of starting the heel flap - yikes!). I'll try and do some during my lunch break. I think if I do February socks they will have to be ankle ones as it's a short month!!!

I know exactly how you feel Binty! I was stomping round the house earlier and was known to mutter words such as "I wonder when these stupid wrists will work again so I can get on with sockamonth/forest canopy kal etc". Very Happy

Hmmmm i cant wait too - everything else ive been fiddling with has gone wrong entirely & been frogged sev times so socks will be great.

Only trouble is cant decide whether to stick with the basic opal pattern or go for something else ????
Binty

Rosie Im the same. Ive got the yarn and the dpns and the basic pattern, but Im finding myself looking at more complicated patterns Shocked

Ive got some plain yarn and some patterned so I really dont know what Im going to do yet (I better hurry up and decide) Rolling Eyes

I've nearly finished my second pair, don't think I'll do it for tomorrow though. I've done two plain pairs now so I'd like to try something with a bit of a pattern next. I'm thinking of having a go at Jaywalker. I have some Opal Rainforest in Chameleon and Frog but not decided which to use yet.

Can't wait to see who wins the yarn from Natalie. Fingers crossed it's me Laughing

Well it definitely won't be me 'cos I'm only halfway through the gusset (no laffing) on the second sock. Crying or Very sad

As one of the administrators I don't think I'm 'helligible' anywhoodle *sniffs*

But Good Luck to everyone else!!

Poor Debs - we are all very grateful to you for organising it hearts

Have just been looking through the picture thread and it is inspiring me to cas t on another pair - there are some beautiful socks, but I already have one sock, a baby cardi, Forest Canopy to start tomorrow and am planning to do CPH when I choose the yarn. Too much to knit and not enough time.
blueadt

Well I'm nearly ready to cast on tomorrow. I've swatched, worked out part of the pattern (will sort the heel out when I get to it) & am now balling the huge 150g ball of DK into two smaller balls.

I'm being brave this time & doing two socks at the same time on circs - toe up Shocked

I'm still not finished on sock 2 - not much hope for me now! I'm doing my gusset decreases at the mo. Nevermind - it's got me motivated to finish them anyways! I'll probably cast on for another pair as soon as I've finished these Very Happy
Binty

Keep going Sprite64 you will get it finished Very Happy
