I can't do it

I had a go at spinning when we all met up last year. I really enjoyed it but i had some people to help me along and sort me out when i messed it up.

Thing is someone bought me a lovely presant of some wool and a drop spindle. I just can't do it and now i don't have the time to practice.

I was wondering if some kind person might spin it for me as i really would like to make something with it as its in lovely natural shades. I think it would make a great bear for Daniel if it ever got spun.

Take pitty on me someone lol.

I'd like to be able to help - but unfortunately the 'drop' is a very appropriate word to go with spindle as far as I'm concerned Laughing .

I'm sure someone out there will come to the aid of a damsel in distress.

I found that I was useless at using a top whorl spindle so I tried a bottom whorl and found it a lot better so it isn't just you. As to spinning it for you, my spinning isn't brilliant so hopefully someone who has mastered it better than me will be able to help  Very Happy

I  may look for some sort of craft thing that has a spinning wheel and take it along lol.

I need to get back into spinning practise, and i'm going to look at lots of videos on YouTube for help too! I just don't seem to be able to co-ordinate myself, i think i think about it too much and make it harder for myself!

Good luck Willow, i hope you work something out *hugs*
