how do I add a pdf file

I want to add my bag pattern to my blog, I have turned the pattern into a pdf file but can't for the life of me work out how to put it into the side bar of my blog

any help would be more than welcome
thanks
YarnAddict

I'd love to know how to do that too. Smile

You need to load it onto a server somewhere I think so that others can access it. Do you have somewhere you can 'store it'? http://www.joedolson.com/blogger/upload_file.php
jacquie

You can't do it directly but here is a link with some ideas for how to get round it;

http://blogger-tricks.blogspot.co...dd-pdf-files-spreadsheet-etc.html

The process is similar to linking to a picture via a picture host.

Chrissy - I haven't used blogspot so I don't know exactly how it works for that. Gilraen is right - you need to store the file somewhere. Can you upload files onto blogspot? You then just need to add a link in your 'sidebar' (I imagine just like you did for your shop link) with the 'url' of the file as the link - i.e. http://brightdyes.blogspot.com/myfile.pdf Shout if you get stuck - happy to help!

Apparently not with blogspot as the link I posted stated.

Sorry - I didn't read that Embarassed

Chrissy - if you want somewhere to 'stick it' so to speak, then email it to me and I can put it on my site.
jacquie

THis is the file host suggestedin the article I posted

http://savefile.com/

It is just like using photobucket but for other types of files.

On reading my post it came off a bit abrupt, I am sorry Sprite I didn't mean to sound like that. Embarassed I just meant that the link gave the info Smile
