house cleaninghow often are the forums cleaned so to speak is it when a certain number of replies has been logged or when a topic is no longer being responded too, or do we go on adding to them for ever? do the messages get archived or put in the bin?

You can switch on a thing called auto pruning that will clear out inactive threads after a certain number of days. We don't have it switched on at present.
Or we mods can delete stuff at will.
If you want to save something it would probably be a good idea to save it to a file by copying and pasting it somewhere just in case.
We only have a certain amount of space available to us so one day we will have to decide what stays and what goes.
