Hi everyone, Auntie Noo invited me over. I am a returner to knitting and want to improve in all areas.
I cross stitch, and sew, in fact to be honest I'm a butterfly as I get bored very easily so basically will put my hand to most things!
I've bought loads of wool from 'n' aren't her colours devine. I'm knitting some fingerless gloves with her glove wool as I type! I have knitted loads of gloves and am currently looking for a long, lacy type fingerless, goth glove for my daughter for Christmas. So if anyone knows of a pattern I would be 'eternally grateful'!
I've had a go at socks but I think I could do better.
I bought some lace weight wool from 'n' this will be my challenge for 2008 as I have never knitted anything lacy!!

No Granny Smith I'm not that far from Wroughton, hubby and daughter pass through everyday, him to get to work, her to go to college.

I love fingerless gloves and the links you have all given me are fantastic, I shall enjoy making them and daughter will adore (I know)wearing them!!!
