Hi - Im Charlifarli!Hi folks! Im Charli, and yes, I am a craft-aholic. I'm into papercraft mainly, scrapbooking and card making and I also join in with some circle journals over on another forum.
Crochet is how I use my yarn, and I suspect compared to you guys Im a bit of a beginner!! Im thinking of getting back into knitting but need to learn because I wouldnt know where to start now - its been a while!
I have a blog where I put some of the crafty things I make, feel free to stop by and have a nosy! Beware, I ramble (as you've probably guessed from this post) a lot!
Hope to get chatting with some like minded crafters!

Ah wow - what a welcome!! Thank you guys so much! My little lad is nearly two! I had a look at someones blog and saw some socks on what looked like three different needles - scary - yeah! I am used to one crochet hook so its a massive difference for me!!
Looking forward to learning lots from you all!
|
n
|
Nah!
It's three needles to hold the stitches and the fourth to knit with, and 's easy peasy once you get your head around it!
We will have you absorbed into the collective in no time.
There's a book on crochet socks too if you are interested?

Crochet socks sounds good! Can you let me know the details please? Thanks so much!

Here it is on the UK amazon.
And this is the US amazon which has a look inside option.
I swapped some yarn for this book, so I have a copy, and I can't see me using it. You can have it as a PIF thing (Pay It Forward) if you like? If you decide it's not for you, you can PIF it to someone else.

Hi Charli, good to meet you, have a lovely time here

That sounds great - how does the PIF thing work? I bet there is a thread on it - I'll go and have a peep and see if I can find it! Is it like a swap or something? Thanks!
|
n
|
Not really a swap, more of an intention to do something for someone else, but not necessarily for the person who did it for you. No-one is going to check!
