Hello, everyone!

I'm originally from N.E. England and now live in Canada. I've crocheted all my life, but took up knitting a few months ago so I would never again have to buy a pair of socks. I love having hand-knitted socks warming my tootsies! Laughing

It gets jolly chilly here!

I also have fun making cards with rubber stamps, and doing the odd page for my scrapbook.

I saw the Sock-a-Month button on a couple of blogs, and came for a lurk. I couldn't stop myself from joining in!

I'm a knitter, and also love cardmaking (and a bit of scrapbooking but it takes soooo long). It will be nice to have some more cardmakers on cos there's not too many of us around at the moment.

Yes, knitting socks, and thinking about knitting socks, seems to have taken over my life! LOL. I'm not too fast a knitter though, so it's going to take a while for me to build up a collection of FOs.

I've just made a few cards, Piglottie, so I may post piccies in the card place.

Unfortunately, my circs haven't yet arrived so I'm tapping my foot impatiently and cursing Canada Post!

I have to say, I do get homesick, Catknit. I mean, I love it here, but my heart will always be in the northeast of England....
