HELP!!

I'm crocheting a beanie hat with a brim, and need a bit of help with the pattern. It's too late to ring mum. Laughing

It's done in rounds, obviously, but I'm not sure what this bit means.

ch 1, htr in same st, htr in each st round.

What does the htr in same st mean, I know it's a half treble, but where do I do this stitch? Embarassed

Is it not in the c1 you first did?? and then in each C1 you do as you go round?

Ch1 - make one chain (this will count as your first half treble or htr)

HTR in same st - Usually means make a htr in the first chain of the row/round by going into the V of the first stitch from the round below.

HTR in each st round - Work one htr in each stitch around

Clear as mud??? Hope it helps...Bernie
