Help please!!I can't remember the last time I've not understood a pattern but this has got me confused.
Pattern instructions (my size only):
"Dec 1 st at both ends of every 7th row 0 times."
So, do I work the 7 rows , then just move on to the next set of instructions without decreasing
OR do I not work the 7 rows at all and move directly to the next section???
The only difference is one way I will have 7 rows more than the other...so it's not too critical but what exactly does it mean?
How would you interpret it?

I would interpret that as working the 7 rows but not doing any decreases.

Sorry I cant help you but I wanted to say its that sort of thing that confirms that I should stick to toys

I would not do those rows at all if its a multi size pattern as you will work those decreases on some sizes but not others.

I'm with you Nevisknitter but then what do I know, I've been wrong before. Sorry not very helpful.

Agree with nevisknitter and slowasasnail. I would just not do those rows at all.

No I wouldn't work those rows either. You'll probably have a chance to "knit until xxcm" at some point so you'll keep the overall length right.

I'm in agreement with Slowas, Nevis and the rest - don't work this instruction at all

Ditto to not knitting any of the 7 rows.

Thanks for all your thoughts! I'm still not certain it's right but I've decided to leave out the 7 as the majority of you suggested.
It will still be the right length at the armhole because I knit to xx". The only thing is that the 7 rows missing before the first decreases means the waist is lower than it otherwise would be...I don't think it's very significant though.
