Help! I need a spinning wheel :oDI've an itch that needs scratching so i am after a decent but reasonably priced wheel for an itch that will subside after it's been scratched
(i know what i'm like, once i've done it for a while it will get passed over for something new )
I've found a couple of auctions on eBay, the one that i'd like your advice on is this one... it says the wheels are untested, if i were to be successful my problem is that i wouldn't know if they worked properly or not anyway but do any of you lovely ladies have any thoughts on them??
There's another auction in my watch list for a "edammertje" wheel which is currently on $51 (£25.69! )
Ideally i'd have liked a traveller so that it was easier to store and hoik around to Mum's and what-have-you but i won't get one of those for cheap that's for sure!

Franney be very careful about buying wheels that you cant see or are from an unreliable source, if the wheel is buckled it wont work at all. I will look for a site to send you where spinners sell their old ones from. You could also contact any Spinners Guild nearby and see if any are for sale. However cheap, a non working wheel is useless.

Hmmmm, yes, that thought had occurred to me, but you know what it's like when eBay gets it's hooks into you
I've done a Google for "spinning wheel" but i'm not having much luck with finding any sites selling them although i did when i looked last week
I've probably spelled it wrong
Thanks Jessica
