Hello..I'm AliceHello everyone.
I found my way here by a very circuitous route and I'm very glad I did! I've seen lots of names I recognise and I'm looking forward to meeting you all.
Like lots of you, I'm a returned knitter. I first started knitting over forty years ago and then after a gap of perhaps twenty years restarted just over a year ago. And I have to say it has become something of an obsession. It seems it's the only crafty thing I do atm but I did spend four or five years doing bobbin lace and dress-making has been an on and off activity throughout.

I had a peek at your blog yesterday to check it out (I'm not being nosey, it's part of my forum job, honest!!) and I LOVE the Cadenza sweater that you knitted and one glorious Ab Fab throw too. I'm dying to try out Cadenza... maybe we should take a trip to Colinette during our summer hols this year as I've realised it's not THAT far away from Llanberis

Thanks for the welcome, ladies.
And no, n, the Abfab was only on the floor to be photoed...but I left it there quite a while because I really liked just looking at it.

My brother, who is old enought to know better, told mum off for having hers around her knees and legs to keep them warm ( the sole purpose of my knitting it!! ) and made her fold it diagonally and wrap it round her shoulders! 
He now knows the difference between a shawl and a throw!
