Hello Rachael and welcome. I'm a knitter, but I know that there are some keen and talented stitchers among us here, so I'm sure you'll quickly feel at home.

Hi Rachael,

I love your black and white fairy. I have very fond memories of doing cross stitch work at school but haven't done any since . I'm quite tempted to do one of those subversive motto ones that I've seen on the internet. Twisted Evil

Hi Rachael, Welcome to the forums
You've got some great piece's in your albums (had to look as I'm also more of a stitcher than a knitter but that doesn't matter here)

Hi Rachel. Welcome to the forum.

I learned to crochet last year (after many failed attempts) but finally got to grips with it when I bought Debbie Stoller's book, the 'happy hooker'. Although it uses American terms, it's very easy to understand. I would really recommend it.

Have fun - everyone is really nice here.
