Hi Roisin,

Welcome to our board. Does sound like you will be very much at home here Very Happy

I had never knitted a sock before this board and now I am on my 4th pair. I resisted for a long time though as I knew after my first sock high I would be hooked and how true that was Rolling Eyes

Great I was saying it right (feels slightly pleased with herself!)

I had to ask as I can still remember the first time I read a book with the name Hermione in it (before the days of Harry Potter)..... and read the whole book pronouncing it Her-me-own to myself... thought it was a very ugly name!!!!!! Obviously I am now very well aware of my mistake!

Roisin is a lovely name.

Hi Roisin and welcome. I'm on my third sock and since it's been so warm lately, the fourth sock will have to wait until the summer tops and shawls have been made. I don't mind waiting though ... the socks aren't for me! Very Happy
