Hello from me too!I've just joined after being pointed in this direction by Chrissy of Bright Dyes. I'm a happily married mum of 2 aged 16 and 14 (where did the time go?) and also to a 13 year old West Highland Terrier called Disney who is my constant knitting partner. I used to have a blog (Woollywarbler) until a year ago but now stick to a simple Flickr page where I keep photos of my finished bits and pieces. I've been knitting since I was 4 years old, some muffled sounds inserted here years ago and learnt to spin three years back after my hubby bought me an Ashford Joy for my birthday. I enjoy all sorts of knitting, especially fairisle and I have a particular affection for Poetry in Stitches sweaters of which I have knitted two with a third currently being planned. I always have socks on the go, sometimes more than a few at a time (gasp shock horror )
I spent a very entertaining hour looking through here earlier before taking the plunge to introduce myself. Must remember to make a big pot of coffee next time!

Welcome to our board.
Why not be rewarded for all your sock knitting by entering Sock-a-Month 2007 and get a chance of winning a prize in our monthly draw?!

WoollywarblerHello all, waves to Blueadt, ahh you remembered me Yes I've never really gone away. I became a lurker, commenting rarely but always there in spirit hehe. I think I confused a few people by signing my comments as Tracy, some only knew me as Woollywarbler.
Thanks for the lovely comments and welcome, I blush easily. Disney my Westie is lying in almost exactly the same position as my photo right this minute, all I need to do is get up though and she'll come running. She's ruled by her stomach!
I have rather a few too many socks without playmates at the moment, so the Sock A Month looks perfect for me Jacquie and after several tries I've managed to get the button thingamajiggy to work. It's been a long time since I played with gobbledegook language, she said refusing to ask for help from computer literate sons. Still, I did it and now I must feed the family so I can sit down and knit these socks, I have a lot of catching up to do, it's May already!

Hello to you too from WoollywarblerI just read all the other welcomes after a week of burying my nose in knitting and sick children (not mine may I add....I seem to have inherited my hubby's nephew for a few days whilst his parents are away and he chose this time to have tonsilitus, aren't I lucky )
What a lovely welcome, thankyou and thanks for the compliments. Once i get a bit more time, I intend to look at lots of your finished projects and wips. I was touched by those that remembered my blog, seems a long time and a fair few socks ago now.
Back to Emmerdale and who did it!
