Hello from Mandycan (sometimes Mandycan't!)HI everyone. My name is Mandy, I live in Swindon and was introduced to this forum by my best friend Adee.
I learnt to knit and crochet granny squares when I was a child and have done a few thing since then, but not many. I have had a go at most things and was addicted to scrapbooking for a few years.
Adee got me back into knitting when I took her to a wool shop so she could feed her habit. One look at all those lovely yarns and I was hooked again.
At the mo I am teaching myself to read crochet patterns (just done a pair of bunny slippers in the Happy Hooker book) and to knit on DPN's (just knitted some fingerless mittens which my hubbie said were useless!!!). Trying to pluck up the courage to knit socks, so I may be asking you all for help!
