Hello from HanneI'm a knitter from Finland, 24 years old. I mainly knit socks and lace - thinner the yarn, better the knit! - and love handdyed yarns.I'm awfully bad at knitting something requested. Right now I'm supposed to be working on my first pattern for Purlescence's Storyteller's competition but I've grown so bored with the shawl that I'm doing almost anything to avoid it. Finding new knitting forums, offering to test knit nice socks, finishing old WiPs... I must be the worst "duty knitter" in the world. I'm studying public law in the university but this is my last year, so I hope to graduate next spring. I have two little sons, 18 months and 2.5 years and a husband, who seems to be quite amused by my knitting hobby. He has endless patience for yarn packages - he is the one who has to get them, since he's home during the day. He and the post man laugh at them.
