Hello from DeeHello. Hmm, what to say, well, after looking at so many beautiful blogs out there, I have decided to take the plunge and have one of my own. What are my interests?
I have a obscene passion for vintage textiles - embroidered clothes, cotton sheets with crochet trims, and cozy feather filled eiderdown's. I’m also passionate about Hollywood - that is Hollywood in the 30s /50s, the Hollywood greats. I have a huge collection of biographies and an even bigger collection of DVDs including MGM musicals, they don’t make um like they used too.
I am a total addict when it comes to auction rooms or junk stores, also boot fairs. There is nothing i like more than a good rummage, one persons junk is another persons treasure!
I do quilting and sew mainly for my home and I love embroidered samplers. I’m always on the look out for vintage ones when I’m rummaging. I do cross st. I crochet and occasionally knit. Er, im a slow knitter. oh and i love roses, on just about everything. I prefer old to new that’s why i stalk, er, i mean visit auction rooms - maybe I’m just an old romantic. I adore my garden i don't grow many flowers there as i grow most of what we eat, just a few flowers for cutting and some companion plants for my veg. Hmm this is getting boring now! am i boring you? sorry, I will leave it there for now.

Hi Dee,
Welcome to our forum! Hope you find it fun here
As gilraen mentioned we have a blog ring you are welcome to join, and we also have various swap events organised through out the year.
I wish I was better at gardening. Someone gave me some romanescu cauliflower seeds and I am worried that I willl start growing them and then something will happen to make me forget about them and I will lose them all. At least knitting doesn't normally die irretrievably on you!

Hello and welcome from me too. I'm afraid I'm from the "it's got two chances" school of gardening. And I take my hat off to anyone who can grow roses.
