thanks for your kind welcome! I have always been crafty but mainly scrapbooking - but i've been really suffering from migraines in the past 6 months - and I've discovered that knitting is the one thing i can do with a cracking headache ( except for cableing - that goes a bit funky lol!). Luckily the migraines are finally calming down but I'm still knitting! the first things I made were a pair of socks on four dpns, because I had to have some hand dyed yarn off ebay (natural dye studios gorgeousness) and everything else has seemed a doddle compared to those socks lol!

Hi Adee,
Welcome from another relative newbie  and thanks for your comment on my blog. I love your dachshund avatar - I'd love a miniature smooth-haired one like the one my parents-in-law have (I once knitted a dog-coat for him with a dachshund motif as requested by my mother-in-law - I think it got shredded pretty quickly! By the dog, I hasten to add )
Ok, enough of my sad admissions. This is neither the time nor the place.
