Harry Potter - Order of the Phoenix

Anyone seen it yet? We are going on Sunday.
Cathie

I don't think it is released here yet, or is that wrong. I know when we took ben to see shrek 3 on sunday it was asking for you to pre book your seat.

I really want to go an see it, I've missed out on seeing the other films in the cinema, mum said she will sit for us one night to go as long as it's when my dads away.

Its out on Friday...
jacquie

Looks like it comes out tomorrow in the UK. It started here today. I would have thought it would have premiered in the UK - Americans take over everything!
Nevisknitter

dreamcatcher

And it was fabulous Very Happy This is the second time I've been to see an HP film on the first night, it was a sold out showing and the audience were absolutely rapt all the way through Very Happy Great atmosphere, and of course I took my Gryffindor scarf for an outing too Laughing

Glad to hear it was good. I am getting very excited about seeing it on Sunday. We were the only people booked for that showing when we ordered our tickets, and it's reserved seating so we got our favourite centre backrow seats (no chance of anyone behind kicking you there).

DD2 and I are going tonight. She's dead excited but HP is too sinister for me and I cower in he dark!!
Aknita

I enjoyed it too - Imelda Staunton was superb as Dolores Umbridge. It has really whetted my apettite for the final book now.
chrissy

I really can't wait, I have a brownie sleepover on saturday night so just need to get that over with and I can go and see it.
craftylady

We went last night, It wasn't as scary as the others so I enjoyed it. Won't spoil it for the rest of you though. Woth the £6.20 ticket price.

Tuesday is our day for this. I get to take my 9 1/2 year old, the 2 year old will have to do something else with his daddy Wink Laughing I'm really glad you have enjoyed it so far. Smile

But it's really next Friday I'm getting excited about!!!!!!!!
chrissy

I absolutely loved it, every minute of it, those kids are growing up to be quite good actors, well worth watching
jacquie

I think I need to see it again. It all seemed so rushed that I am sure I must have missed bits. And there wasn't time for any character or relationship development so it just seemed like they were pawns in a game of chess just being manoeurvred around the board to get them in the right place at the right time.

I did enjoy it though. It must have been a gamble picking out 10/11 year old kids to play longstanding parts because you can't really tell how they are going to turn out or whether they will stick with it. Luckily all three are marvelous - as are all the supporting cast kids who have been there all along.
Piglottie

I actually think this is one of the best films so far. As Chrissy said, I think the young actors have really matured and to me, this was their best performance so far. I loved it and was enthralled from opening to closing credits Smile
Auntie Noo

I'm really looking forward to seeing this. I found the book a little bit "tiring" but thought it was a really important step as it answered some questions and moved the story on for the climax's in the final two books. But I think I'll find it much better to see than it was to read!!!!
