Harry Potter Deathly Hallows

Really looking forward to getting this.

DH DS2 and I are off on holiday on 29th July and on the 3rd and 4th August DH and DS2 are going to BlizzCon - it's a convention for World of Warcraft and other Blizzard games - which means I have two whole days to veg out by the pool or in the hotel room to read it.

I am so hoping I can get through the first days without accidentally finding out the ending!

I know the feeling. Not going to listen to anyone or anything. Just lock myself away till its finished.

I've pre ordered it from amason, and getting it delivered to the shop, really looking forward to it arriving, yet at the same time not wanting to read it cause I really don't want it to end.

Mine's on order from the book club (last thing I'm getting from them as I think I can cancel now), so I hope it arrives in a timely manner! Can't wait to read it but don't want it to end either.

I dont tend to buy many books now, only those I know I will reread and I've never reread any of the HP books, as much as I enjoy them Smile I will be getting a copy from the Library so will have to wait awhile probably so shall need to try and avoid spoilers Laughing

I am currently listening to the audio tapes of the Half Blood Prince (again from the Library) to refresh my memory. I love Stephen Fry Smile

All I am hoping is that Royal Mail don't go on strike next weekend as I have two copies on order from Amazon. I will have to wait until one of the kids finish their copies. Hopefully DD will have a marathon read and be finished by Sunday!!!
Anna

Can you imagine the national outcry if the RM did go on strike? It would be worse than....well I can't think of anything worse on that particular day. All those undelivered HP books. *shudders at the thought*

I'm hoping DH will go for me to tescos at midnight too!! Twisted Evil

Well I honestly do not think that the union are that stupid, I think if they did strike they would be killing themselves, so far I don't think it will happen, there is just too much at stake to strike next week, they have to give a weeks notice so I don't think they will, they are talking about doing a friday and monday strike but not yet.
It is killing us every strike day costs us £50 and that is a hell of a lot to loose a week.

As for the book, hubby will buy us both a copy when he finishes work at 2am so we can start reading that day, we will then not talk to each other untill we have both finished it, lol

I'm going to Asda at midnight on Friday to get my copy and I think I'd better get a box of tissues too!! Crying or Very sad Laughing
Cathie

Does any one whos read the book fancy discussing it via PM, I am itching to talk about the book, but none of my friends are remotely interested in the books.

TIA
