handspun hanks

Three lots of 100g spun from wildcraft superwash English wool blend - all broadly heavy 4ply/light DK equivalents. Some uneven plying evident in places, but still very usable yarn Smile

I'm planning a shawl with my handspun, only got 60g so far though, I'm not sure how it will knit up and tension/size isnt such an issue in a shawl.

Lovely Glynis, you are really getting good at this spinning lark  now. That English wool blend is fab isn't it? But you have to get in quick on the shop update to get the one you want I find LOL

Thank you - there's lots of room for improvement, but I'm getting there.
At the moment I am trying some BFL that Woolforbrains dyed.
You certainly do have to be quick for the updates. I missed my first choice this time, but still bagged a pretty one.
The update time is not good for me because I am usually out until nearly eight oclock on Fridays. I may have better luck in August.

Glynis, what lovely spinning Very Happy

I must confess to being initially confused when I opend the thread - I thought it's title was "Handspun Hunks" and I couldn't see a hunk anywhere  Rolling Eyes  Embarassed
