Thank you all - I hope you enjoy playing with it. I'd love to see it in completely different colour combinations.
I think any one of n's club combos would work using the small skein for the fungussy bits!

n said that the inspiration for the yarn came from the woodlands near her home. I thought I would do a pattern that looked like the funghi that grow on the trunks of trees which I think is rather beautiful but the sock name is a bit tongue in cheek too.
