This morning i couldn't get into the forum at all, it said there was a critical error and now that i am in i am not getting any of the forum graphics - new post, last post etc., the "reply to post" has turned yellow and also the left hand graphic has vanished.

I also noticed that my avatar isn't mine - it's sunflowers or something

Just thought i would bring it to your attention, and also see if it's just me or if anyone else is having difficulties too?

It's not altogether a bad thing, without the forum i have managed to finish off a sock this morning

I'm fine Franney - I use IE btw - it's blogger that's making me tear my hair But then I was asleep this morning so wasn't trying to post after 9:00.

Sorry, can't help, I have been able to get in ok on 3 occasions today and haven't noticed anything odd.

(and your avatar isn't sunflowers when I look at it now - perhaps it's all sorted it self out. )

i changed my avatar to one of mine, i don't know where the sunflowers came from!

i'm still having trouble, have deleted my cookies and cleared my cache etc. but still no forum graphics - i'm getting this:


no graphics, just broken image links and lots of "alt text"

I haven't had any troubles apart from it being really slow this morning.

It was very slow for me earlier today but I couldn't get onto etsy at all so I asumed it was at my end

hmmmm, thanks Noo, you might not need to worry about it though
I'm now in IE and it seems to be working fine so it would seem to be a Firefox issue
I'll have to have a poke around in my settings and see what i can find out

I stopped being able to get on here with Firefox about 4 months ago

A couple of times I have had a strange message that mentioned Firefox and I had no forum but it seems to be working fine just now

Occasionally the forum provider upgrades the forum software or the server is unavailable but everything seem to be okay at the mo.

Well, i think i have it sorted. For some reason there was a box that had become unticked in my options for Firefox and it was the box that said "automatically load pictures" so of course pictures weren't loading! DOH!
How it became unticked i do not know!

I have also helped to break a world record for the most number of downloads of one program in one day and have upgraded to Version 3 of Firefox along with over EIGHT MILLION other people!
