For you laceweight users!I tried to use this stuff at the weekend, it was awful, I hated knitting with it.
I love knitting lace but not with that skinny stuff!
I am having a little laceweight giveaway on my blog so pop over to get in my lacey drawers!

You got some gorgeous lace yarns. Are you sure you won't give it another go? i hated it at first then I tried Posh Yarns Sophia and Eva lace whic are a little thicker than some lace yarns and now I'm knitting in cobweb lace which i never thought I would.

I have just bought some lovely Alpaca to make one of the lace things I was going to do. It will be so warm and snuggly! It is 4ply / dk so is going to look great as a throw too.
I did knit Kiri in Posh yarns once so would definatly use that again. It is just a case of working out which are the thicker weight laceweights.

My first go at lace was attempting a Charlotte's Web using Koigu KPPM....I gave up on the web and made a Kiri instead. Now that was nice to play with, I can see why people use sock yarn to do shawls. I really hope you find something you like, the alpaca sounds nice, you'll have to show and tell

I have done the draw and the winners are on the blog!
I found some lovely laceweight /4 ply weight from Fyberspates. It is a soft 2 ply silk. I am knitting succesfully with it!
And Gill from Woollyworkshop is so kind, she is sending me a snippet of Jaggerspun so that I can feel the thinness of it.
