Fiddlesticks Country SilkI have had a skein of this for a little while Fiddlesticks Country Silk and this afternoon I have wound it into a ball. Scroll down, the colour is Desert Sand.
This evening I have cast on and started knitting - oh what lovely yarn it is I am really going to enjoy knitting with this.

That looks an absolutely stunning colourway Joy...I bet it feels devine. I'd love the feel of that sand running between my fingers
What have you cast on for?

Well I bought this very simple shawl pattern from Gill when I bought it - scroll down to Easy Mesh Triangle 'cos of course when I bought it I hadn't knitted six Forest Canopies had I and now I think i could have gone for something more complex!
C'est la vie!

It IS a beautiful colour - it's a departure from my usual colours of course, but there was something about it when I saw it, and I think I am affected by seasonal changes too.
I do wear chocolates and browns, though I rarely buy yarn in those colours
Kiri's a good idea KLB - I'll have enough for two I should think!
