Don't Stop me Now - I'm going GaGaHaving seen the real thing, it was not without some trepidation that DS2 and I went to see a Queen tribute band this evening - GaGa - and just as their promotional blurb says there were no wigs, no make up, no false moustaches just rock and roll! We have had a ball!I had had just the right amount to drink beforehand  and once we had got over the embarrassment of sitting in the wrong seats ( not my fault, they were the seats we were shown to ) we have had such fun. Just 3 guys singing Queen stuff for the love of it.
These Are the Days of Our Lives still makes me cry, and Love of my Life is the most perfect song. A great night out! |

It sounds wonderful Aknita, the tributes can be quite good even though they're not the real thing, we had a really good Bryan Adams tribute down this way a couple of years ago, but 'Queen' thats something else, l would loved to have been there

Glad you had a great time. These things are always a bit of a gamble so I am glad it worked out.
We went to see the Australian Pink Floyd a couple of years ago (they are just finishing up a tour with some UK dates now) and they were fantastic - couldn't tell them from the real thing. My reasoning for going was that I would never get to hear Pink Floyd music played live any other way. |

I really like the song off the "day at the races" album, I think its called teo torreata??????Let us cling together.....? partly japanese I think, do you know which one I mean? That brings a tear to my eye
