Does it matter if....When I was having my sort out today I was a bit ashamed to find some lovely yarnyard pencil roving which I bought ages ago. I started spinning some of it - also ages ago. It's still on the spindle. I'm wondering if I should just take it off and start again or can I carry on with it (erm, mind you - it's been a while so maybe I should start again!?)
I've got 3 lots of roving which I haven't touched yet - and one which I started (but I can use that to practise I guess!). 2 are variegated - 'citrus tree' and 'earthtone' and one is a solid in an orangey peachy colour called 'honeypie' which contrasts quite nicely with both the variegated.
So - I want to set myself a challenge to spin it and make something - handwarmers maybe? Hmmmm. Or I could just use the roving as a pillow - it's very soft and yummy
This could take some time! I need to practise first - and I haven't plied anything yet. EEEEK. Do I need to ply it?
Off to read spinning book now.
